What to do if you have a concern
A concern about your own child
If you have a concern about your child, please do come in and speak to us. We have an open-door policy and will always try to meet with parents/carers at the earliest possible convenience, if not immediately.
Your first point of contact regarding your child's learning or relationships is their class teacher. They will be able to answer your questions about your child's time in the classroom and playground, and will be able to seek information about concerns regarding wider areas. If necessary, they will refer your concern to another member of staff; Pastoral Lead, SENCo, leadership team or Midday Supervisor.
If your concern is about your child's wider well-being or behaviour, please ask to speak to Mrs Quick, our Pastoral Lead.
If you are concerned that your child may have an additional need, please ask to speak to Mrs Mallyon, our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator.
A concern about a member of staff
If the concern is about a teacher, we politely ask that you do not discuss the matter widely but instead ask to speak to the Headteacher.
A concern about another child that is not school related
Please contact Essex Children's Services by phone or email. You will find the details on the tab below.
In an emergency (if you think that a child is in immediate danger) please call the police on 999.
